Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 24, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to SquadLogger ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how we collect, use, and safeguard information. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection and usage for our sports performance analytics platform.

SquadLogger is a professional sports performance monitoring platform based in Tallinn, Estonia. We provide advanced analytics tools for sports teams and organizations to optimize athlete performance and manage training data.

  • Training load metrics and session RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion)
  • Heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) measurements
  • Injury records and body location data
  • Physical performance benchmarks and test results
  • Training calendar and session history

2.2 Player Identification Information

We collect player identification data as provided by team administrators and coaches. IMPORTANT: We strongly recommend using anonymous identifiers, pseudonyms, or abbreviated names rather than full legal names if you wish to protect player identity.

  • Player IDs or jersey numbers (e.g., "Player 10", "#23")
  • Initials or abbreviated names (e.g., "J.D.", "Smith")
  • Pseudonyms or nicknames

You have complete control over what identifying information you provide. If you do not wish to share personally identifiable information, simply use anonymous designations when creating player profiles.

  • Account credentials (email addresses, encrypted passwords)
  • Team and organization details
  • Platform usage statistics and interaction patterns
  • Device information and browser type
  • IP addresses and access logs (for security purposes)

2.4 Uploaded Files and Documents

Users may upload data files (Excel, CSV, PDF) containing performance metrics. We process these files to extract relevant performance data and integrate it into our analytics system.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or process medical health data. SquadLogger is a performance monitoring tool, not a medical device or healthcare platform. We do not:

  • Collect medical diagnoses, treatment records, or prescription information
  • Store protected health information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA or similar regulations
  • Process sensitive health data requiring medical professional oversight
  • Provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations

4. How We Use Your Data

4.1 Primary Service Delivery

  • Provide performance analytics, visualizations, and reporting features
  • Generate AI-powered insights and risk analysis for training optimization
  • Enable team management, player tracking, and session planning
  • Facilitate data import, export, and integration with third-party devices

4.2 Analytics and Research

We may analyze aggregated, de-identified performance data for improving platform algorithms, conducting research, and generating industry benchmarks. All research uses de-identified, aggregated data only.

4.3 Platform Improvement

  • Enhance user experience and interface design
  • Optimize system performance and reliability
  • Detect and prevent security threats or fraudulent activity

5. AI Technology and Limitations

SquadLogger utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to provide insights. AI models can produce incorrect or nonsensical outputs ("hallucinations"). Recommendations should be reviewed by qualified professionals and not used as a replacement for professional judgment.

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted service providers (cloud hosting, AI providers like Anthropic, payment processors) necessary for service delivery.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard 256-bit encryption, secure authentication, and regular audits to protect your data. While we strive for absolute security, no system is 100% impenetrable.

8. Data Retention

We retain data as long as your account is active. Performance data is typically kept for the duration of the subscription plus 90 days, unless immediate deletion is requested.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. You can also export your performance metrics at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@squadlogger.com
